How to Apply

Downtown Indianapolis Downtown Indianapolis

Each year, we take 24 categorical pediatrics residents, 12 Med-Peds residents, 2 EM-Peds, and 2 Triple Board/Psychiatry residents. We seek the best and brightest students to join our diverse and talented group.

Application Process

We accept applications through ERAS, available in the office of the Dean of Student Affairs in all medical schools. Applicants must submit 3 letters of recommendation (a Chairman's letter is not required). We begin reviewing ERAS applications in early October and notify applicants about interviews when the majority of your file is complete. Interviews occur each week from November through January. We pride ourselves on 'Hoosier Hospitality' and whenever possible, we will work with you to accommodate travel schedules, couples match, or other special requests.

Interviews

Applicants will be contacted by email in early October to early November regarding the scheduling of an interview. During the interview visit, applicants meet with faculty, get to meet our current residents and will tour the campus. The night before the interview, applicants join the pediatric residents for dinner and enjoy a stay in beautiful downtown Indianapolis, just minutes from campus. Your interview day will conclude by 2:30pm.
